A Staff of Ice and Fire

This project was to build a hero weapon for the Mage class in the stylized couch co-op RPG that I am working on in my spare time.

There will be a point during the introduction to the Mage class where the player will choose between fire and ice. Once they choose a path, they will start on a quest to travel to the Lava Depths or the Frozen Mountains. There they will construct their staff as a completion to their training and award them with the official title of Mage.

This particular weapon idea was heavily inspired by some of my favorite Warcraft weapons. While the game is still in a whitebox state (aka learning to code and design), I decided to finish these weapons as practice for building more stylized assets.

The final renders and animation were done with Unreal Engine 4.
